China, of all places, is giving new meaning – and new laws – to the term “born again.”
Go slowly on this one. This one’s like ice cream and bankruptcy law: If you go too fast, you get a screaming pain in the top of your head. And if you imbibe too much, you get sick. So the temptation to stop reading halfway through the column may be even stronger today than it usually is.
I am informed today – by several mainstream publications that seem positively gleeful by the pain they’re going to cause our heads – that China has published regulations governing the procedures one must follow before reincarnating.
