AALL PDX 2008: Post #3: Eastern Oregon

If you plan to travel around Oregon before or after the Annual Meeting in July 2008, here’s another route to consider. Sunday’s Oregonian (8/19/07) Travel section had a Beginner’s Guide to Eastern Oregon, with some terrific photos and maps. And if you are a fossil or photography buff, you must visit the Painted Hills near Fossil and the John Day fossil beds.
