“Oregon Judicial Department Provides Better Public Access To Online Court Information
Accessing court information will now be easier for the public. The Oregon Judicial Department has made basic case information available for free through an online search portal.
The public can now access basic information about most cases in Oregon circuit courts and the Oregon Tax Court.
Information available through this new free service includes basic case information, the names of parties in the cases, the time and date of hearings and other case events, whether or when the case was decided, and basic financial information.
Some cases and case information will not be available through this system, including dates of birth and other personal identifying information of case parties and information about cases protected by federal or state law or policy. These protected case types include juvenile, adoption, mental health adjudications, and protective orders or other cases that fall under the federal Violence Against Women Act.
Court records are available for cases in all Oregon circuit courts and the Oregon Tax Court.
Online access to court records is a component of the Oregon eCourt program. All Oregon circuit courts are now using the Oregon eCourt System.
